Friday May 15, 2026:

9.10 AM Departure by private car to the parking lot Greiffenklaustraße/Ehrenbreitstein, parking lot, Greiffenklaustraße, 56077 Koblenz from Ehrenbreitstein Fortress
(duration ± 25 min. – 17 km – 10,5 miles)
Parking fees: First hour EUR 2.00, each additional hour EUR 1.50.

10.00 AM Guided tour around the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress (approx. 1 hour).
The Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, situated on a high on and rocky outcropwhere the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Upper Middle Rhine Valley." The complex is part of a system of military fortifications surrounding the city of Koblenz and impresses not only with its 5,000-year history, but also with its magnificent panoramic views and vibrant cultural center.

Then we'll descend by cable car to the Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer in Koblenz.
There's time until 2:00 PM to explore the adjacent Old Town (Altstadt) and grab a bite to eat.



We will meet again at the Gilles Personenschifffahrt jetty, Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer, 56068 Koblenz, no later than 2.10 PM. This is a 7-minute walk—500 meters south from the cable car valley station—and approximately 900 meters (13 minutes) from the Old Town (Altstadt)

At 2.30 PM, we'll depart on a Gilles's tour boat for a two-hour castle and palace tour. This tour offers breathtaking views of Koblenz Castle and the historic wine village of Koblenz, as well as the magnificent Lahneck Castle, the confluence of the Lahn and Rhine rivers with St. John's Monastery and All Saints' Chapel, and the magnificent Stolzenfels Castle. During the tour, we'll also see the Martinsburg, the Marksburg, and the world-famous Deutsches Eck (German Corner).
We'll arrive back at Gilles's jetty around 4:30 PM. From there, we'll return to the cable car, which will take us back over the Rhine to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress parking lot, where the cars are parked.



6.30 PM Dinner together in the restaurant of the hotel – Open End of the evening.


Saturday May 16, 2026:

9.00 AM After breakfast, we drive to the National Auto (Car) Museum, Museumsstrasse 1, 35716 Dietzhölztal (95 km – 60 miles – 1,5 hours).
A Club Parking space has been reserved for our cars.



11.00 AM Guided tour of the museum, approximately 90 minutes.

The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure in the Car museum or elsewhere.

Program costs:

The cost for the various components of the program for the entire weekend is €85.00 per person.
This price includes the guided tour and admission to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the cable car, the Rhine boat trip, and admission to the National Auto Museum with a guided tour.

The registration deadline is Monday, January 20, 2026.
