Driver's Side Cup Holders

As a British Rover 75 owner, I have been looking for sometime for a right hand side pop out cup holder.

For the UK market, this would be the driver's cup holder, and these are practically non existent now in England. The same cup holder in German vehicles would be the passenger's side one, to which all cars were fitted.

I along with many other UK Rover 75 and MG ZT Club members would be keen to source these cup holders from owners in Germany, perhaps from cars that have been broken and parts sold at a breakers yard.

Likewise, for German owners who want (but can't find) Left hand cup holders, which were standard fit on UK cars, I and others could quite easily obtain from scrap yards, these ones and make them available.

If anyone has, or knows where to get a spare right hand cup holder, please could they contact me here, or email paul.ribi@tiscali.co.uk.

In return, I could source a Left hand cup holder (like the one pictured below) and post it back overseas, if wanted.

my car has both cup holders, left and right, and, of course, it's a continental LHD. Is that unusual?

It seems that in the early production year(s) the second cupholder was just added for the continental export .(Too tricky for only one cupholder in the export production process) You stand not alone

Hi gents,

thanx for Your statements. Knowing the first owner of my car I am perfectly sure that he did not opt for a second cupholder, so this must have been standard at least on my 75 of very early 2000.
